The Department of Energy at the Prime Minister’s Office wishes to invite eligible consulting firms to submit their bids for the provision of consultancy services to support solar power development in Brunei Darussalam.
The tender period will commence from 10 June 2025 until 2:00 PM (GMT+8) on 8 July 2025.

Starting
from 10 December 2024, Brunei Darussalam will introduce a new visa-waiver
measure for Japanese nationals in possession of valid Japanese passports for a
period of stay not exceeding 30 days for a short-term stay.
This
new measure will be implemented based on the note verbale
exchanged between Brunei Darussalam and Japan in March 2024.
Similarly,
Japan will also introduce a new visa-waiver measure for nationals of Brunei
Darussalam in possession of valid Brunei passports for a period of stay not
exceeding 30 days for a short-term stay beginning 10 December 2024.
The
new visa-waiver measure will extend the period of stay without visa from 14
days to 30 days.
