Tokyo, Japan 5 January 2026: H.E. Chum Sounry, Ambassador-designate of the Embassy of the Royal Embassy of Cambodia paid a courtesy call on His Excellency Wan Hadfi Lutfan bin Haji Abdul Latif, Ambassador-designate of Brunei Darussalam to Japan at the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam.
22 December 2025: With regards to the year-end holidays 2025 in Japan, the Embassy of Brunei Darussalam would like to take this opportunity to advise our Bruneian travelers to exercise cautions when visiting tourist attraction areas such as; Shibuya, Asakusa, Shinjuku and Harajuku as the number of tourists are increasing to these places.
It is recommended to advise the family member especially children under your guardian to be more vigilant with the surrounding and if they are separated from the family group at these places to immediately report themselves to the nearest police station / police post (Koban). This police station / police post (Koban) will assist with directions, lost items and minor crimes etc.

22 Disember 2025: Merujuk kepada musim percutian hujung tahun 2025 di Jepun, pihak Kedutaan Besar Negara Brunei Darussalam ingin mengambil kesempatan ini untuk menasihat para pengunjung untuk lebih berhati – hati apabila mengunjungi tempat – tempat tarikan pelancong seperti Shibuya, Asakusa, Shinjuku and Harajuku memandangkan meningkatnya jumlah pengunjung dari luar ke tempat – tempat ini.
Adalah disarankan untuk menasihatkan keluarga terutama anak – anak dibawah jagaan supaya selalu peka dengan keadaan sekeliling dan jika terpisah dari rombongan keluarga semasa berada ditempat – tempat ini untuk terus melapor diri ke stesen polis / pondok polis (Koban) yang berdekatan. Stesen polis / pondok polis (Koban) berkenaan akan memberikan bantuan seperti arah tuju, kehilangan barangan atau jenayah kecil seperti kecurian dan sebagainya.
